Owner Wendy Doyle celebrates re.funk.it’s place in the Ashland community. “We are lucky to be part of a small town that supports creative pursuits,” she says. “The community has embraced our quirky vibe.”
Business partner Sharon Stiles adds, “Most new customers stop-in during a visit to downtown. We’re delighted that tourists are finding Ashland to be a thriving shopping and dining destination. Special events and Randolph-Macon College families help round out our customer base.”
Wendy and Sharon have created a successful business model by featuring local artwork at affordable prices. In fact, the store’s sales increase annually, as re.funk.it’s reputation and following continue to grow.
The team embraces innovation with the store’s inventory continually changing. You can find a showcase of their products on Facebook and Instagram. re.funk.it has sent local art from Florida to Maine and across the country to California.
