Hickory Creek Antiques (located at 427 England St in Ashland Town Center) is open 7 Days a Week! Mon-Wed & Fri & Sat 10am-6pm, Thurs 10am-7pm and Sun 12-6pm. Owners Jan and Roscoe Walker are great friends to many in Ashland and can be called ‘the other Ashland Visitors Center’ since they greet and direct many visitors crossing Route 1 since the opened 6 years ago. Jan believes in true southern hospitality and will even provide homemade refreshments on the weekends! Their store destination has been popular before they were officially opened. Jan and Roscoe shared the story that while they were still setting up their store, a woman came in and asked to buy something. The money from that purchase hangs on the wall by the register. Through the promotion efforts of GayDonna Vandergriff of Vandergriff Consulting their store was recently visited by I-95 Welcome Center officials from Fredericksburg. They loved what they saw at Hickory Creek Antiques and will continue to direct people to this popular antique spot!
