Kelly Merrill, Ph.D., Ashland Museum board member, a faculty member at Randolph-Macon College and University of Richmond, and a fellow with Initiatives of Change, will lead 2 tours of the Richmond Slave Trail.
Join us on Saturday, October 6, or Thursday, October 11. We will meet at the Ashland Museum at 8:45 and depart by van to Richmond at 9:00 am. The tour will make several stops in Richmond and does require some walking. We will be back at the Ashland Museum about 1:00 pm.
Cost: $40 for members, $50 for non-members. Registration and payment in advance is required. Tickets are not refundable. Tour will be held rain or shine. This is an umbrella-friendly walk. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes since we’ll be walking on uneven ground and paths.
